Medical Conferences International Inc (MCII), a subsidiary of Tarsus Group plc, is pleased to announce the next phase of its expansion into the anti-aging medical sector with the launch of a new event for the South American market.
The new A4M Brazil Workshop on Anti-Aging Medicine will take place 14 -15 August,2009 at the prestigious Palacio das Convenes do Anhembi, So Paulo, Brazil. It will be held with the full endorsement and support of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and the World Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (WAAAM). In addition, the inaugural A4M Brazil Workshop will be a joint venture with the organizers of Sports Business Forum.
Anti-aging medicine is a medical specialty founded on the application of advanced scientific and medical technologies for the early detection, prevention, treatment, and reversal of age-related diseases. The aim of anti-aging medicine is to extend not only the human lifespan but also the quality of life and to limit the debilitating affects of aging.
The South American anti-aging market has shown significant growth in recent years and isexpected double in size from $7.2bn in 2007 to a projected $14.6bn in 2015.* Brazil is the region's most influential and dynamic economy, with a growing population of almost 200 million and a rising tide of affluence. The Brazilian medical market ranks as the eighth largest in the world and a recent report forecasts that, by 2050, the Brazilian economy will be the fourth largest in the world.
